Shamantha Yan

Shamantha is co-founder of Growthbeans, Director of Savoir Asia Consulting Pte Ltd and Research Assistant with the Lee Kuan Yew School of Public Policy. She has conducted training for MNCs, SMEs, Schools, and non profit organizations. Some of these organizations include Sembcorp, Covance, Caterpillar, Roche, Lymon, National University of Singapore, Young NTUC, SIM GE, Nanyang Polytechnic, Youth Corp Singapore and others. She runs Growthbeans Circles (supported by Youthcorp, Young NTUC and Ascott China) to help individuals gain more self-awareness, increase confidence and perspectives as well as soft skills. In the past year alone, she has reached out to hundreds of individuals. Her research interests are in areas of employability and career development.

Previously, she spent close to 6 years with Singapore Airlines in various divisions from Flight Operations and Products & Services to Marketing under the administrative Officer Programme. In her various roles, she looked at establishing partnerships, elevating customer service and experience, achieving service quality through understanding customer needs, competitor benchmarking, design thinking process and process re-design. She also managed different teams to help them improve performance and productivity.
