Clara Chong

Clara Chong is a recent alumni from SMU SOSS who graduated with a Psychology degree but is now working in the IT industry. In the 1.5 years since her graduation, she’s co-founded and raised funds for an agri-tech startup, is currently CEO and co-founder of a women-in-tech community initiative called TechforShe and got promoted to User Experience Lead at a fast-paced agency focused on digital automotive solutions in less than a year. During her time in SMU, she won the Excellence in Student Life Gold Award as President of Uni-Y SMU and the distinctive graduate SMU CIRCLE Award.

She was also a SMU Scholar, Dean’s Lister, and Independent Research Thesis Student. Clara is a natural-born leader who believes in servant leadership and is always eager to share her insights and experiences on leadership.
